Change the cut yourself, not just comment on it
When your editor sends a cut through CutConvert, you get a link you can open on your phone. Drag clips into a new order, make them shorter or longer, and pin notes to the picture. Your version goes back to the editor as a suggestion they can accept straight into their Premiere project.
Send this to your editor
Copy it into an email or a message. It tells them what to do and where to go.
Hi! Could you send me cuts through CutConvert's Send to producer page? I get a link that opens on my phone, where I can reorder clips, trim them and leave notes on the picture. My changes come back to you as suggestions you can accept straight into your project, with the media still linked. Sending is free: https://cutconvert.com/editor/send

What you can do on the link
- Watch the cut, laid out as a storyboard of its clips, or of the scenes your editor marked.
- Drag clips or whole scenes into a new order.
- Drag either end of a clip to make it shorter, or longer again.
- Remove a clip, or add a title card where something is missing.
- Pin a note to a moment and a spot in the picture.
- Approve the cut when it's done.
What your editor gets
Your version arrives as a suggestion next to their cut, and your notes become markers on their timeline. They accept what they agree with, and the changes are written into the project they started from, so the media stays linked and everything you didn't touch stays as it was. No timecodes typed into an email, and no rebuilding your notes by hand.
Limits for now
- Cuts of up to 10 minutes. A longer cut can be sent in parts.
- You can only use picture and sound that are in the cut. To ask for a shot that isn't there, add a title card or a note.
- It's new. Tell us on the page if something doesn't work.
FAQ
Do I need an account or any editing software?
No. You open a link in any phone or desktop browser. You give a name only when you leave a note or a change, so your editor knows who it came from.
Does my editor lose control of the cut?
No. Everything you change arrives as a suggestion next to their cut. They keep what they agree with and set aside the rest.
What does it cost?
Sending and reviewing are free for both of you. Your editor pays only to export the project back: $5 per project and its revisions, the first export free once they sign in, or included in Pro.
Which editing applications does it work with?
Premiere Pro, with the whole loop checked in Premiere Pro 26: the export opened with the media online and the rest of the project untouched. Editors can also send DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro projects.
Can I download the footage?
The review copy is a watermarked 720p video with no download button. Your editor’s original media never leaves their computer.
